In the event of an emergency, we want to assure you that we have staff on site 24/7/365. We take our commitment to safety seriously and so our Administrator, Kim Doyal and the nurse are always on-call to staff. If staff needs us, we are there within minutes to direct and oversee any urgent needs of our residents. We also maintain a call list for each resident and depending upon the event, we enact that list to notify family.
On the weekends, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., we have one of our Department Heads on-site. We believe that a well managed team is a great team fitted for success in delivering and maintaining our goals and values.
The buildings are an open access environment with specific entry doors that are locked ongoing. All entry/exit doors are secured from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Families and residents enter and exit the keypad secured entry/exit doors via an assigned access code. This helps us to monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for all who live, work, and visit in our buildings.
All apartment doors open to the inside of the building and each apartment has it's own private lock and the resident is issued a key. Management and staff on duty can access apartments with a master key should an emergency occur or if a resident locks themselves out. This gives our residents the privacy they need while allowing us access in an urgent situation. Dignity with safety is our focus.
Apartment windows have safety locks. Emergency pull cords (2) are located in each apartment. Grab bars are in every bathroom.
The buildings are up to fire code and every apartment, hallway, and room has installed sprinkler system.
Our buildings are one-story and access meets the ADA federal laws.
Safety of our residents, families, staff, and visitors is priority-one and our safety tools and checks are in place.
